Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band charge into the final dates of their U.S. spring tour in support of their new CD 'Working on a Dream' (Columbia

Records) with a string of ecstatic reviews in tow. Reviewers are saying the energy on display is at an enthusiastic, infectious and heart-pounding peak.

"It just got better and better...perfect, simply perfect. Not much more I can say about a night I'll never forget," raved Shawn Courchesne of the Hartford Courant.

"He's the best there is," exclaimed Melissa Baron of SF Weekly, "Springsteen played so hard that sweat dripped off his whole body." Ricardo Baca of The Denver Post wrote, "Springsteen is a better showman today than in 1984," while Mike Ragogna said in the Huffington Post, "If you haven't been to one of Springsteen's shows in a while, you need to catch this tour." Meanwhile Sarah Rodman of the Boston Globe writes, "Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band don't have to play for two hours and 40 minutes. Nor, when they play, is it a requirement that Springsteen fall to his knees, shimmy and shake, attack his guitar like he's still discovering new sounds it can make, or take audience requests that he and his band don't know how to play...Springsteen and his band did all of that and more." Martin Cizmar of The Phoenix New Times had never seen Springsteen live. "I'm not from Jersey, I didn't grow up with The Boss and I'd never seen him play before," Cizmar admits, "but I will say that nearly everything you've heard or read about a Springsteen show is true. The fans are rabid, the set marathon, Springsteen a first-rate showman."

Setlists for the first 23 shows have included more than 100 different songs and a staggering range of covers chosen by fans who wave homemade posters and placards with song requests at the concerts. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band refuse to be stumped, performing songs from almost all of Springsteen's 24 albums and covering "London Calling," "You Really Got Me," "Hang on Sloopy," "Wild Thing," "I Wanna Be Sedated," "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide" and many more (see lists of all songs at end of release.)

Remaining U.S. spring tour dates:

May 15 Hershey, PA Hersheypark Stadium

May 18 Washington, DC Verizon Center

May 19 Pittsburgh, PA Mellon Arena

May 21 E. Rutherford, NJ Izod Center

May 23 E. Rutherford, NJ Izod Center

Throughout the WOAD tour, Bruce Springsteen has donated both concert tickets and hospitality passes to various Food Banks across the nation. The tickets and passes are auctioned off prior to each performance and if a minimum donation of $10,000 is made to the Food Bank, Springsteen holds a meet and greet at the show with the auction winners and matches their donation (up to $50,000). Fans are also encouraged to participate in canned food drives that take place at each venue.

'Working on a Dream' debuted at #1 in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and New Zealand and received exemplary reviews in Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, People, and elsewhere.
